Siobhan Cleeve our Competition Manager organised the Clacton and District Primary School Sports Association's annual High Five Netball Tournament and the competition attracted eight schools and a healthy crowd of mums and dads.  Play was in doubt as the weather, more specifically the gale force wind, threatened to blow the ball backwards in one half and accelerated the ball in the other making play very difficult.  However, all players showed a high level of skill and determination to showcase great competition played in a great spirit.

On another balmy summer day, Martello Beach was the venue for the first Schools Beach Tag Rugby Tournament during National School Sport Week. 

On a blistering hot day at the Garrison Track fifteen schools took part in the annual CDPSSA Athletics Championships.  Competition was very close with Engaines breaking the relay record with a time of 1:00.04 that had stood since 2005 and were awarded a special medal and certificate.  Jane Quantrill from Lloyds TSB sponsors of National School Sport Week presented the medals.  Clacton Coastal Academy provided leaders for the event.

Fresh from their exploits at the CDPSSA Athletics Championships both Alton Park and Holland Park sent year 3 / 4 combined and year 5 / 6 combined teams to represent the Partnership at the County Quadkids event at Braintree.
